A very good reason not to delete digital files!

We received a telephone call this morning from a past Cherub customer who needed to replace their portfolio. Their little one had drawn over the photo's with a felt tip pen. They chose to frame it this time round, so that little hands can't get to it in the future! We also received a call last week asking if it was possible to replace two damaged prints.
This highlights two points, firstly maybe framing your folio is a good idea or at least putting it out of reach! Secondly, as we do not delete our digital files, we are able to easily reproduce their cherished images, taken several years ago. I can't imagine having to tell a customer that they couldn't replace a damaged print because we have deleted it!
